The Guide Rail to Barrier MASH transition is a temporary construction zone transition that has been crash tested to MASH Test Level 3 standards. The temporary transition connection is a system that provides a crashworthy transition between TCB and permanent or temporary SBGR. The Guide Rail to Barrier MASH transition between the existing SBGR installation and the TCB will need the steel posts to be installed into the granular base or gravel shoulder.
