MTO wood posts come in a variety of thicknesses and lengths. These posts have all been crash tested to NCHRP Test Level 3 standards.  They are designed to support signs of various sizes, as well as maintain the breakaway component upon impact. MTO wood posts are milled from locally sourced FCS certified Red Pine. Rough-sawn timbers are seasoned and air-dried for optimum treatability before planing. As per MTO standards, all the posts are stamped with a specific ‘grade, species, and treatment’ stamp, to signify their roadside safety acceptance.
